Student Programs

We are here to help!

If you have no English skills and wish to learn, or already speak a little English and wish to improve your skills, we are here to help. We work with you in your home, or in a public site (e.g., library) on a one-on-one basis. Our tutors are volunteers and do not charge for their time. We provide basic reading and writing materials at no cost to you. We schedule sessions at days/times convenient to you and your tutor.

Tutoring is usually done one-on-one (one tutor with one student) or in small groups of 2-5 students with one tutor.

We teach beginners who do not speak English or have limited English knowledge.

We teach intermediate students with some English speaking, reading and writing.

We teach advanced English to those needing help with grammar, pronunciation, reading, writing and conversation.

We teach those who want to study for U.S. Citizenship and those wanting a GED diploma as well as a Computer Literacy class.
